
This is an initial batch of readings regarding modernist cinema and (European) art films. Specifically theoretical and historical readings are accompanied by specific analyses and readings of the films we are screening in class. We are taking on Antonioni as our object of analysis and the readings will relate to L'avventura, Il Deserto Rosso and Blow Up.
