Product Placement: 70,200 Samples

Meet Johannes Kreidler. He composed and produced a 33 second musical composition called Product Placement. PP contains more than 70,000 samples of already existing recordings. He then, like all good law abiding citizens, proceeded to clear every single sample with GEMA, the German RIAA/ASCAP/BMI. According the GEMA you have to fill in a form for each sample you use, even the briefest bit. Kreidler's performance then becomes his quest to fill out the 70,200 forms needed for him to be on the right side of the law.
